University College Birmingham is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Lecture in Science to join our expanding Further Education provision. You will play a key role in shaping the future of science education, delivering high-quality teaching to students on our Level 3 Applied Science programme.
As we prepare for a forecasted doubling of student numbers and record-breaking applications for 2025/26, this is a particularly exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and growing department.
What You’ll Be Teaching
You will primarily teach first- and second-year units that are fundamental to students’ progression into science-based careers, including:
- Science Investigation Skills
- Laboratory Techniques and Their Application
- Principles and Applications of Science
You’ll work alongside a passionate team of educators and industry professionals, delivering inspiring lessons to a diverse and motivated student body, while engaging in curriculum innovation and supporting continuous departmental development.
